Whalejump Playlists

It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I've always been passionate about many different things. I'm a big dreamer, and I spend a lot of time reflecting, imagining & picturing things. Music has been helping me a lot with that. I spend a lot of time listening to music, sometimes with a distinct goal in mind, and sometimes aimlessly, just for the pleasure of being carried away.

I often share songs I discover that way with friends and today I wanted to share them with you. This playlist gathers tracks that have accompanied me during these phases of reflection. I hope you'll recognize yourself behind some of these tunes.

Some are sad, others less so; the styles range from Dubstep to more pop-oriented electro, and everything in between, including Drum & bass, Future bass. Although it's obviously more an electronic genre playlist, it's not focus on something very specific. There are many types of songs where I can find what I'm looking for.

Currently, these are songs that resonate with me personally, as I continue to discover new music that I find inspiring. I'll never stop dreaming and I encourage everyone to do the same.

So lay down, close your eyes, and enjoy the dive 🐋

Video games have always been a part of my life. I started playing when I was 10 years old and quickly became passionate about the competitive scene of games like Starcraft II, Quake 3, League of Legends, and more recently, Rocket League. Beyond the competitive aspect and the desire to play, it has allowed me to stay in touch with friends but also introduced me to musical styles that still accompany me today. I have spent countless hours listening to dedicated playlists, watching montages, highlights... usually accompanied by electronic music. Even though today my passion for music creation has taken precedence, I remain very connected to the E-Sports scene, which is still a domain I deeply appreciate.

During these gaming sessions, I sought out music that would transcend me, that would push me towards victory and make me feel like I could move mountains. There are many playlists related to gaming moments. Everyone has their own relationship with video games and everyone looks for music that suits them.

So, it's not a revolutionary playlist in itself, but it's another facet of my personality that I found interesting to highlight. I remain very inspired by this universe and I often try to create music with a video game background in my mind. I hope that through this selection, I can help you rediscover forgotten classics as well as introduce you to new releases that might interest you.

Enjoy the game 🐋

Cover Art Break away

Music is important to me, whether it's when I'm creating or simply listening. I spend some time exploring new releases and rediscovering older tracks that I had forgotten about.

I find it fascinating how revisiting a piece of music that once moved us can appear very differently now. Some music I rediscover seems incredible, some not as great as before, and others reveal themselves anew. But regardless, I love to share it.
Whether in a creative pursuit or simply for the pleasure they bring me, these are songs that have touched me, and I wanted to share them with you.

This playlist compiles most of my all-time favorite tracks. Different genres & different emotions. Some songs are very famous, some others not that much but I trully believe that everyone can find something intereting in it.
This playlist is coming with a format named "top 5" where every month, I highlight five tracks that have truly accompanied me throughout the month. These tracks end up at the top of the playlist every month.

Playlist Submission

I enjoy listening new music by myself, but I also love to discover new things through passionate people. Right now, these playlists are personal but I really believe that they are design to be shared and I hope to grow them through your participation.

If you listen a track that you fill can be a good fit for one of these playlist or fi you created one, please don’t hesitate to send it to me through at this mail address with your track (preference on links) and talk to me about your song and why you think it may be a good fit for one of the playlist.  It may be difficult to get a spot here as if reflects more my own preferences  but I’d love to hear songs from you.
